From the consumer perspective, Mom's quickly identify with any stickers, awards or certifications that one product has and others do not. The design of this award was heavily influenced by Mom's and their thinking. |

Simple Logic |
The Toy Man® "Mom Approved Award" is a favorite to all of the Moms we surveyed. As mentioned earlier, Moms use simple logic using comparative shopping. They generally go by gut feeling or impulsive selection to start, then incorporate visual comparison of products. The more the awards and certifications, the higher the probability of the product with the most getting selected. |

"The Toy Man® Mom Approved Award proved its worth among the Moms we surveyed Online. Each Mom who took the survey had to view a page with all of The Toy Man® awards on it and select the one that appealed to them the most. Combination and Balance of Elements |
As a part of the survey, Moms had to explain why they choose The Toy Man® "Mom Approved Award" as their favorite. The overall majority made it clear it was a combination of the color and shapes of the award that captured their attention. "Everything was is in a perfect balance!" as one of the Moms shared on her survey form.
The combination of colors and all elements of the award design were carefully designed to draw a person's eyes to be drawn to the award and not be able to find any single part of it that they liked best. That encourages a stronger branding recognition not just of the award, but the product, but the product that was the recipient of it.
